Introducing: Kasey and Erika, our newest RA’s

By A Noise Within
June 15, 2017

We are so excited to welcome Kasey Mahaffy and Erika Soto as our newest Resident Artists to the ANW family, after they both took center stage in many of our shows this past season.

The Resident Artists are a core group of 22 seasoned actors and creative theatrical professionals, central to A Noise Within’s mission. The RAs are featured in nearly every show at ANW; thus, many of our residents become familiar faces to our attendees. Our RAs provide ANW with a familial grounding, better allowing us to interpret and perform a wide array of stories—stories that implore audiences to question beliefs, focus on relationships, and develop self awareness. In doing so, the RAs are able to form bonds amongst each other, and within the greater theatrical community.

Kasey Mahaffy

You’ll recognize Kasey Mahaffy as and The Fool in King Lear and as Sancho Panza in Man of La Mancha in the 16/17 season.

“This is a dream come true for any actor: to belong to a company; to be supported and challenged by a family of remarkable individuals, all in pursuit of artistic greatness.” – Kasey Mahaffy

Erika Soto

Erika Soto played Thomasina Coverly in Arcadia and Cordelia in King Lear in the 16/17 season.

“I welcome this honor with a full heart and open arms.” ANW gives actors an artistic home, “which is a rarity in the theatre world.” – Erika Soto
