Sensory Friendly Series

New in the 2023-24 Season!

The first Thursday evening (7:30 pm) performance of every subscription-series production will be a Sensory Friendly performance.

Sensory Friendly performances differ from our Relaxed Performances in that the performance is not modified in any way. Neurotypical audiences will not notice any difference between this performance and any other.

Audience members who are on the autism spectrum, have PTSD, or have sensitivities to light and sound will benefit from a handout detailing when an abrupt or intense moment of lighting, sound, or on-stage action will occur. A discreetly-placed lantern will provide a visual indication of when these moments will occur. This indicator light will be noticeable to the audience members watching for it, but will not distract other audience members from their experience.

Sensory Friendly dates for 2023-24 season

The Bluest Eye: August 31, 2023

A Midsummer Night’s Dream: October 12, 2023
