Year End Campaign

Year End Campaign

Dear friends,

It is hard to believe another year has come and gone, and even harder to believe that we are celebrating our 30th Anniversary season! Everyone at A Noise Within has been buzzing as we’ve prepared the theatre for a return to in-person performances, and we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who made that possible. We are incredibly grateful for all your support this year (and truly, since the beginning of the pandemic). The way you helped us build, connect, and strengthen our community – even in the most difficult of times – is so representative of the magic we’ve gotten to experience over the past 30 years. There is so much to celebrate and be grateful for, most days it is difficult for us to wrap our minds around it!

One of the biggest leaps we ever made was producing our first show in 1991; it’s wild to think that we’ve opened more than 200 productions since then! Moving from our first space at the masonic temple in Glendale to our beautiful home in Pasadena completely changed the game for A Noise Within; as we worked to grow into our new home, we kept our focus on building community. We gained even more perspective when the pandemic hit, and – without prompting – our incredible community rushed in to support us yet again. Over and over, for 30 years, you have shown up for A Noise Within. You have joined us for show after show, countless events, and helped launch exciting new initiatives like Noise Now. Our gratitude has reached a crescendo, and we know that there is so much more to come!

Thanks to you, we have survived while our doors were closed. Now our aim is to thrive as we re-open fully, celebrate all that we have achieved with your help, and prepare for the next 30 years of A Noise Within. We hope that you will consider supporting ANW this holiday season by renewing your annual gift. As we close out the year in gratitude, there is no better gesture to support our company than this. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do!

Best wishes,

Donate today

To be eligible for a tax deduction in 2021, contributions must be received or postmarked by December 31, 2021.

The CARES Act is making donating to charities more convenient and encouraged than ever! As part of the stimulus package set forth by the United States government, tax payers who usually take the standard deduction now have an incentive to donate up to $300 “above the line” to a nonprofit organization, which is 100% tax-deductible on your 2021 tax return (filed in 2022). Donors who typically itemize their deductions can now deduct 100% of their donations from AGI (Adjusted Gross Income) rather than the previous limit of 60%.

Make CARES Act Donation

Whether you itemize your deductions or not, making a donation under this new Act to A Noise Within will help us support our staff and artists and keep the local economy running.
