2021-2022 Season: Intimacy Director, Anna in the Tropics, Seven Guitars
ELSEWHERE: Carly is a theatre director, intimacy choreographer, sex educator, and community facilitator with a passion for bringing consent culture to creative spaces. She’s excited to be ANW’s first intimacy director. Carly has worked as an intimacy director and educator at the theatre departments of UCLA, USC, RISD, Pomona College, CLU, and Cal Poly Pomona, as well as at Director’s Lab West. She’s done intimacy choreography for The Road, Son of Semele, ESTLA, Theatre 40 and indie films and has directed numerous plays and workshops for The Illyrian Players.
