In for Me (Infamy)
Presented by Nancy Evans Dance Theatre
Wednesday May 13th at 7:30pm
On the Redmond Stage at A Noise Within Theatre
Jenn Logan and Nancy Evans Doede join forces on an evening-length dance work inspired by A Noise Within’s production of Eugène Ionesco’s Exit the King. Their new creation, In For Me (Infamy), is a satirical dance-theatre work exploring the seductive rise and inevitable unraveling of a woman of a certain age in the public eye. Three figures embody different stages of the same leader—ambition, authority, and reflection—revealing how celebrity, control, and perception are carefully constructed performances. As the spectacle fractures, the work asks what lies beneath celebrity and reminds us that every exit is also an entrance.
