Bia Borinn

Bia Borinn is a Brazilian actress, educator, TV host, filmmaker, and theater producer based in Los Angeles. With over 20 years of experience, she brings an interdisciplinary approach to education and the arts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theater from the University of São Paulo and a specialization in Portuguese as a Heritage Language from Plurall by BEM in New York.

Bia is the co-founder of Brazilian Play and Learn, where she develops innovative Portuguese language programs and Brazilian Culture for children and families. Her training in commedia dell’arte includes work with Esio Magalhães in Brazil and a workshop with Enrico Bonavera from Piccolo Teatro di Milano.

Early in her international career, she interned with the production of Neighborhood Watch, written and directed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn, at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough/UK. Bia is a SAG-AFTRA member and recently has worked as a Guest Star in The Gringo Hunters (Netflix) and a Co-Star in All’s Fair (Hulu), both premiering in late 2025. 

Currently, she is producing the musical play Carmen, The Queen of Samba. Fluent in Portuguese and English, and conversational in Spanish, she blends her multicultural background with a passion for storytelling.
