Anne Dorothy Harley

Canadian soprano and scholar ANNE DOROTHY HARLEY is thrilled to be a part of Conference of the Birds as it takes flight. Her recordings appear on Hänssler Profil, Warner Classics, Naxos, Canteloupe, BMOP Sound, Bridge Records, and she has toured as a soloist in China, Salzburg Mozarteum, Manhattan School Music, Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto Summer Music Festival, Melaka Arts and Performance Festival (Malaysia), among others. Since 2011, she directs Voices Of The Pearl (www.voicesofthepearl.org), commissioning, premiering, and recording newly composed song cycles setting texts by and about female esoteric practitioners from all spiritual traditions. The NEA has awarded her projects four times since 2015.
