An oasis for those who love classic stories. Los Angeles Times

Workshops and Residencies

A Noise Within offers an exciting selection of educational programs designed to bridge the gap between stage and classroom. Our professional Teaching Artists conduct fun and interactive workshops that are aligned with the Common Core Standards in English Language Arts, Literacy in History/Social Studies, and the California VAPA Standards.

Through hands-on exercises and dynamic classroom discussion, ANW workshops and residencies allow students to connect with classical theatre, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of the literature and performance of theatre and its relevance in society today.

We offer workshop options both at the theatre and on your school campus. Learn more by clicking below.

See What Students & Parents Say About ANW’s Classes:

“We loved attending these workshops. Our students were so excited to come back after the first class and eager to discuss what they learned. They provided insight and perspectives that the students otherwise would not have received. We love ANW!” – ANW Teacher
“It was so fun to have a real actor come to our class and work with us before the play. It really helped me understand what was happening while I watched!” – ANW Student
