Karla Askar
Glendora High School

Karla Askar is a senior at Glendora High School and is absolutely honored to be able to perform on the A Noise Within stage. Although her career choice is focused on science, the performing arts have always held a very deep place in her heart, and she hopes to continue fueling this love for performing well into her adulthood. 

Noah Avoungnassou
Pacifica Christian High School

Noah Avoungnassou is doing the best he can. At seventeen, he has made the most of his time in the PACARTS (Pacifica Christian High School) theatre program, taking on roles from Reverend Hale in The Crucible to Dmitry in Anastasia. Mention John Mayer’s music around him to activate his voice box. 

Da'Kori Dickerson
ICEF View Park High School

Da'Kori Dickerson is a 12th grader at ICEF View Park High School.  She plays volleyball and is a Cheerleader.  Da'Kori is also heavily involved with ICEF Performing Arts and has appeared as Fiona in Shrek, Karen in Mean Girls, and is currently playing Maleficent in Descendants at Miracle Theater this December. She loves to perform and share her talents to help inspire others. She is grateful to be selected as one of the 10 winners. 

Avery Eletto
LA County High School of the Arts

Avery Eletto is an actor, playwright, and director studying at LACHSA. They founded Stiletto Studios to produce their original, feminist theatrical and film projects and is the youngest-ever alum of the Eugene O’Neill Theatermakers program. Avery would like to thank Elizabeth Dennehy for her support and is beyond grateful to A Noise Within for this incredible opportunity. averyeletto.com 

Matthew Folkin
Yorba Linda High School

Matthew Folkin is a senior at Yorba Linda High School. He has been performing in theatre productions since he was in the first grade. Notable roles include: Sweeney Todd, Ebenezer Scrooge, and Jud Fry. Matthew plans to continue his studies of the dramatic arts in college. 

Rodney L. Jones III
Oakwood School

Rodney L Jones III is a Senior at Oakwood School. He has graced stages and screens since his early youth, and he’s grateful to take the stage at A Noise Within. Notable stage performances include: The Wizard Of Oz (Paramount Theater), The Doppelganger (Steppenwolf), Norma (The Lyric Opera). His recent film work was on A24’s Misty Green. Rodney enjoys STEM, Sports, Filmmaking, Guitar, and hanging with family and friends. @RodneyLJonesIII 

Sasha Levie
South Pasadena High School

Sasha Levie is a senior at South Pasadena High School. She loves all things live theater and is the historian of the SPHS Drama Club. She is also a visual artist and is applying to colleges for animation! Sasha is currently in SPHS’s production of Rio Hondo and can’t wait to do Come From Away in the spring! Sasha is so excited and grateful she was chosen to perform at A Noise Within!

Ayana Manji
Taft Charter High School

Ayana Manji is an actor/singer in her senior year of at Taft Charter High School. Her school theatre credits include Sandy in Grease and Johnny in The Outsiders. Screen credits include The Queen of My Dreams and Disney’s Mira, Royal Detective. She is passionate about pursuing a career in the performing arts! 

Diane Riser
Canyon High School

Diane Riser is honored to be performing on the A Noise Within stage. She has won awards from DTASC and Role About Festivals, as well as Top 20 Actress at the Jerry Herman Awards last year. Recent credits include, Mrs. Gibbs in Our Town, Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, and Johanna in Sweeney Todd. Diane is planning to pursue a theatre degree. She wishes to thank her Mom, Mr. Miller and her friends for their support. 

Zach Romo
Valley View High School

Zach Romo has been in Valley View High School's Theatre Company for nearly 4 years now, and it was through this involvement that they were able to experience Death of a Salesman at A Noise Within last season. They are so honored to have been chosen as a Finalist in A Noise Within's Teen Monologue Festival!

Monologue Criteria

• Must be from a full-length play written before 2010. Monologues from musicals or standalone monologue books will not be accepted.
• Must be from a play that is widely recognized as a ‘classic’ or part of the classic theatre canon.
• Must be two to three minutes in length.
• Participants must read the entire play and be prepared to speak on the importance of the play and why the participant selected it.

We strongly encourage participants to select plays from the following list.

Winner’s Circle

Winners will receive and are required to attend:

Sunday, November 1, 2026 – Monologue Festival Masterclass – 11am-5pm

Winners will participate in a Masterclass at the theatre with an ANW Resident Artist. Finalists will also receive a celebratory lunch before attending the 2pm performance of Come From Away. Attendance is mandatory.

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 – Winners Showcase – 6pm

Winners will perform live on the A Noise Within main stage in front of a panel of theatre professionals and a live audience on Tuesday, November 3 at 6pm.

Winners will also be honored on the A Noise Within website and across social media channels.
