Artistic Fund

We’re raising money to fully value and honor the extraordinary talents of our artists and to empower them to pursue exceptional projects. Resident Artists are a central aspect of ANW’s ability to build meaningful relationships with its audience, and raising their salaries demonstrates the esteem in which our community holds them. Higher salaries also let us hire more talented, experienced, and diverse professional artists to join our RAs to tell these universal stories. In addition, the Artistic Fund fully invests us in the creative impulses of the Artistic Directors and the Resident Artists by providing them with contingent resources to develop artistic visions that benefit the company, the work, and the community.
