FAQ

Should I take the Acting Track or the Production Track?

While students should have an initial interest in theatre, both the Acting Track and the Production Track are open to students of all levels of experience. Students interested in acting and performance should take the Acting Track. Students interested in non-acting positions in the theatre including stage management and theatre design should take the Production Track.

What is the class schedule?

Classes run from 10am – 4pm from Monday to Friday for the five weeks of the program. There are no classes on Juneteenth (June 19). Participants are expected to attend all classes and rehearsals.

What do participants wear?

All participants, both Acting and Production, are expected to dress in clothing that allows for movement and can get messy. Participants must wear closed-toe shoes with a sole that are secure on the feet and are comfortable. No flip flops, sandals, short skirts, or very tight pants. Jewelry and hats must be removed for movement and combat classes. This level of readiness is extremely important.

Are tuition scholarships available?

A limited number of scholarships are available for Summer 2026; interested participants should complete this form in order to be considered. The deadline to apply for a scholarship for Summer 2026 is April 17, 2026.
