Karen Hall,

WITH A NOISE WITHIN:

2020-2021 Season: Composer/Cellist/Muse, An Iliad

WITH ANW: Debut.

ELSEWHERE: Usually in the orchestra pit, Karen has over 25 musical theater books in her repertoire. She has been an on-camera cellist for TV shows such as Glee, Modern Family, The American Music Awards and the feature film Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping in addition to multiple commercial appearances. Karen has played numerous symphony concerts, TV scores, live shows and maintains a busy teaching studio in the greater LA area. Outside of music, Karen has trained in improv, clown, mime and mask work. She enjoys both acting in and live-scoring clowning shows and pushing the visual component of musical performance to better connect with audiences through classical instruments and repertoire.
