Professional Internships
The Professional Internship program allows serious theatre artists to gain invaluable experience by working alongside professional actors and technicians during an actual repertory season.

A Noise Within's Spring Internship will take place January 23-May 23
Applications are due Wednesday, January 5, at 6pm
Auditions and interviews will take place the week of January 10.
Internship Orientation will be Monday, January 23, at 5pm.
The final internship presentation will be Wednesday, May 23, at 7pm
ACTING INTERNS
Acting interns are cast in a supporting role in one or more plays during the season, receive over 100 hours of professional training, and gain hands-in experience in technical theatre.
PRODUCTION AND DIRECTING INTERNS
Production and Directing interns gain experience in his or her specific field of interest through one-on-one partnerships with the directors and creative artists working in the company. Production internships are offered in costuming, sets and lighting design. The internship is personalized to meet the needs of each student.
ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNS
Administrative interns may specialize in artistic, education, or marketing administration.
ADMISSION
Six to eight acting interns are chosen for each three-play (Fall and Spring) repertory season. Admission is by audition and interview. Actors should prepare two contrasting monologues (not to exceed 3 minutes total,) one of which must be from the works of William Shakespeare. Production interns request an interview and submit a portfolio for review.
